Polarised, rimless sunglasses are the perfect choice for those looking for a clean, modern and distraction-free design. Thanks to their ultra-lightweight frame and glare-eliminating lenses, they offer a clear and weightless visual experience. These types of glasses are ideal for those who prioritise both style and functionality, combining optical innovation and minimalist aesthetics.

Unlimited comfort and style

One of the biggest attractions of rimless glasses is their ability to offer a sophisticated look without compromising on comfort. By dispensing with the traditional frame, they are extremely light, so much so that you hardly notice you are wearing them. What's more, as they have no frame, they leave more of your face visible, making your eyes stand out.

Why choose polarised rimless glasses?

Total protection from the sun

Polarised lenses effectively filter out reflections from surfaces such as water or asphalt, providing clearer and more relaxed vision. They also block 100% of UVA and UVB rays, taking care of your eye health every day.

Lightness and resistance in every design

Although they may appear fragile, rimless glasses are made from materials such as titanium or high-strength polycarbonate. This allows for a strong and flexible structure that adapts comfortably to daily use without compromising its durability.

Featured models for every face

Rectangular rimless sunglasses

Rectangular shapes are slimming and add structure to the face. They are particularly suitable for round faces, as they balance the proportions and emphasise the line of the eyes. With polarised lenses and a rimless design, they are a sophisticated and practical choice.

Square rimless sunglasses

For those looking for a more emphatic look, square, rimless sunglasses offer a bold yet clean style. They work very well on oval or long faces, providing an attractive geometric contrast without losing lightness or functionality.

How to combine your rimless sunglasses?

This type of glasses is extremely versatile. You can wear them with summer outfits, light suits or even with urban clothes. Their minimalist style allows them to be integrated effortlessly into any look, always providing a touch of sophistication and freshness.

FAQs Polarised sunglasses without frames

Rimless sunglasses are commonly known as ‘gafas al aire’ or ‘rimless’ in English. This type of design is characterised by the absence of a frame around the lenses, resulting in a cleaner, lighter and more modern look.

It means that the lenses are not surrounded by a rigid structure. Instead of being fitted into a complete frame, the lenses are attached directly to the temples and the bridge using screws or discreet fixings. This gives them a floating appearance and makes them feel lighter.

‘Rimless’ refers to the absence of the traditional frame that surrounds the lenses in a pair of glasses. Rimless glasses stand out for their minimalist design, where the lenses appear to be “suspended” and are connected directly to the temples and the nose bridge, with no visible support around them.

Polarised sunglasses are not recommended in certain very specific contexts, such as for aeroplane pilots, as they can make it difficult to read some digital instruments. They are also not recommended in cases where the screen of certain devices with special filters may be distorted. For most people and everyday uses, they are a safe and highly beneficial option.

It's not bad, but it can be uncomfortable on some devices. Polarised glasses can interfere with the visibility of LCD or LED screens, such as those on mobile phones, tablets or navigation systems, reducing the contrast or generating a darkening effect at certain angles. However, for outdoor use, they are still highly recommended for the sun protection they offer.
